Conselho Nacional de Imigração cria fórum de participação social para sugestões e temas relacionados à imigração.

O Conselho Nacional de Imigração, órgão responsável pela criação de leis e políticas imigratórias no Brasil, editou em 11/02/2015 a Resolução Administrativa nº 11 instituindo o Fórum de Participação Social (FPS), espaço consultivo para sugestões e propostas em temas do Conselho Nacional de Imigração – CNIg.
Este fórum visa a aproximar o Conselho Nacional de Imigração de migrantes, entidades, cidadãs e cidadãos, todos estes com a prerrogativa de participar do referido fórum, para que suas contribuições sejam encaminhadas ao Plenário do CNIg para devida apreciação. Este fórum terá caráter unicamente consultivo.
O Fórum de Participação Social terá ao menos 1 (uma) reunião por ano, estando prevista também a criação de Grupos de Trabalho para temas específicos, além de um espaço virtual para debates permanentes entre os participantes cadastrados. A coordenadoria do fórum será escolhida livremente entre os participantes.
O Conselho Nacional de Imigração publicará as informações sobre como será feito o cadastro de interessados, bem como convocará grupo de trabalho para sua organização.
Esta nova norma encontra-se em vigência desde sua publicação, em 18/02.


National Immigration Council creates forum of social participation for suggestions and themes related to immigration

The National Immigration Council, body responsible for the creation of laws and policies related to immigration in Brazil, edited on February 11th the administrative Resolution No. 11, which set up the Social Participation Forum (“Fórum de Participação Social – FPS”), an advisory space for suggestions and proposals of themes to the National Immigration Council – “CNIg”.
This forum aims to make an approach between the National Immigration Council and migrants, entities and citizens, all with the prerogative to participate in such forum, so that all contributions are sent to CNIg for consideration. This forum will have only advisory finality.
The Social Participation Forum will have at least one (1) meeting per year. It is also expected the creation of working groups for specific topics, as well as a virtual space for ongoing discussions among the registered participants. The forum coordinating body will be chosen freely by the members.
The National Immigration Council shall publish the information on the procedures for registration of participants and will convene a working group for its organization.
This new rule is in effect since its publication in February 18th
